How We Started
We are Kevin László and Krisztián Réb, united by a common goal: "To give our drivers a race car they can become one with." For us, race cars are not just objects or tools — they are four-wheeled wonders.
We met in 2021 and quickly realized we both wanted the same thing. We were both involved in the motorsport world. Krisztián's Lada needed frequent repairs, and Kevin was happy to do the work — that's how we figured we should do something with this shared passion.
The Beginnings
KDB Motorsport started its journey in 2022 from a dusty two-bay garage. We repaired acquaintances' race cars and helped others with servicing in domestic rally championships and abroad.
By 2023, we were already servicing multiple race cars at events and at home, and it was the year we first assisted a foreign crew.
2024 brought the breakthrough for us, as we started working together with FiaSko Sports Association. Kevin managed the Mitropa Rally Cup season of Huba Mang (president of FiaSko SE) and his co-driver, Attila "Unicum" Béres, ending the year successfully. We have been managing their racing activities ever since.
It was also then that János Dunavölgyi approached us with the idea of reaching the podium in the European Historic Championship. The Samara ultimately finished 3rd by the end of the year, thus completing our biggest project in Europe to date.
Our Mission
To bring youthful energy to this profession. We strive to create quality and safety for our drivers. For us, this is more than just a job. We treat our drivers' cars as if they were our own.
Our goal is for every driver to feel comfortable at any given race, so they can achieve the best results with maximum concentration — whether in Hungary or in any international championship series.
Our Team
Our team is entering its 3rd year in both domestic and international series. Based on our drivers' needs, we cover all domestic championships as well as the Mitropa Rally Cup.
Since the beginning, our workshop has seen factory-built race cars as well as many custom builds. We've repaired crashed cars and refreshed expired ones.
Our biggest projects are always the new builds, as we start and finish them ourselves — these builds truly represent us, both in quality and competitiveness.
By 2025, working from a large workshop, we have built, serviced, developed, managed, or rented out a total of 25 different race cars.
